We took a quick trip to Oxford Ohio, to Miami University. This picture is taken on the middle of the campus residential section.

Birth Day Buddies!
Quick funny story...
I recently went to a mommy group where we all can bring our babies and share our birth stories. As I shared my story another woman said she remembered me. She had tried to deliver at the same birth center on the same evening but was transferred to the hospital. She finally delivered by forceps after five hours of pushing. Her little girl was born early in the morning on August 16th!
It was really cool to meet a little baby girl that shares G's birthday and the mother who also pursued a 'natural' birth that day.
She and I have spent some time visiting each other since the meeting and we discovered we share two more things in common.
Their living room is turqouis (just like ours!) and they recently got married.
How recently?
Why September 10th, 2005. (Spooky!) They almost had their ceremony on the beach but opted for a lakeside locally instead.
It is a weird world indeed!

Updates
I just want to let you know we have been having a blast with the little guy over the last few days. He just seems to be changing at lightening speed. In just thte last three days I have put 3 videos on YouTube, all of which are hilarious! Remember you can just click on YouTube akmoyer75 under Links on the right. Then when you are in YouTube search for akmoyer75. That should take you to all my videos.
G has also discovered the joys of petting Doggies. Yesterday I noticed he was eyeing Ginger so I called her over to him. I tricked her into sticking her neck out over his lap so we could pet her. She was wonderfully calm and I thought I saw G "petting" her neck. When she tried to pull away I realized he had her ear balled up in his fist. She never winced, barked or bit. I pried his little hand open and freed her up... then she hung around for more petting from us both..
Yesterday teething also started - I mean the crying and more crying kind of teething. What is amazing is his resilience. Later on, the same day, he was laughing and carrying on. Then he discovered splashing. Which brings me back to the videos. What you see in the spashing video is the first time G discovered really rambuncious play all on his own

Halloween
I had a hard time getting G photographed in his Pooh outfit. This was the best angle to get the cute little hat in. Halloween was really great here, we had about 20 trick-or-treaters and it has been years since I lived somewhere where everyone felt safe enough to get their children out to meet the neighbors. We gave out Mounds and Reeses Cups mostly.

You Tube
So have you heard of YouTube? Well Grandpa Gary has finally pressured me into posting my 30 second camera videos of G. If you go to www.YouTube.com (there is a link on the left for it) and look for videos made by "akmoyer75" you can find stuff. This should help all you long distance relatives keep up with his cuteness.

Two Months
G went to the doctor today for his 2 month well visit. He is actually ten weeks old tomorrow. He has great motor skills and can reach out and bring things to his face to "chew" on. He has begun to laugh and of course he has a winning smile. Today we found out he is now 13 lbs! The pediatricians and nurses think has a great personality as well as being very healthy.
At this moment he is having a very frustrated argument with a little blue bear that doesn't quite fit all the way in his mouth.

Doula
Here G visits with our friend April who acted as our Doula while we labored at UNC. She saw me go through transition without dilating, a bizarre experience for both of us I'm sure.
Her daughter Ruby and son Kendon will be joined by another sibling sometime early next year. Good luck April, take care, see you soon.
April is working towards building a better birthing community for women in our area. Keep an eye out for "April's Nesting Place" if you move to our area, the Triangle.
