Update

Just as a side note, our Doula had her baby on Monday, a little boy 5 lbs 13 oz. And then on Wednesday Marks second grandson was born, 7 lbs 3 oz.

The Beads

A tribute to my Grandmother, these are pictures the Moyer clan can really appreciate. The beads here are from Mark's Grandmother Judy's collection. As long as it is supervised play, bead strands make an excellant toy for little guys.

Wild man Grady has been practicing sitting up and screaming in all manner of pitches. It is his "barbaric yulp" practice

At our "four month visit" we learned Grady is growing normally and is now 17 lbs 2 oz, which figures since he is in 6-9mo clothing. This picture was taken in the late afternoon with the strong sunlight comming through the back door.

Five Months

Maybe today is the day. Last night G went from being on his belly and turning skillfully in 360 circles to getting his body up on all fours. A few moments ago he tried to make a crawling step and tripped. At the rate he is insisting on trying this he might just be crawling tonight.

Also just in the last few days I have been trying G on Bananas as recommended by one particularly good nutritionist. He does not like them cold! And swallowing them is a challenge, but we do have fun. He would much prefer I hand him the spoon, which to my surprise he does get into his mouth when he wants to.

And... Today G is five months old!

Genesis the Kid

G meets a new kid named Genesis who lives at Noahs Ark Ministries just down the road.

Cuteness

G-Man has discovered the swings at the park. A sun washed afternoon, he wasn't quite himself this day, so we had to cut it short.

As a side note I stopped trying to introduce solids for G for now. His swallow isn't very good but his upchuck was. So... since he continues to thrive were gonna wait till probaby six month and try again.

Roll Over Beethoven

Two days ago G rolled from his back to his front to play with a toy and Mark. When Mark walked to the other side of the room (excitement over football) G rolled onto his back again, taking his toy with him. Then he rolled to his belly and back again to follow Mark across the room. He kept going and traveled about 6 feet this way. The toy stayed with him as he kept moving it into his intended path. The feat of going belly to back was a new as the invention of rolling to travel!
