Thank You Party

Round Here...

A quick "mommy and Me" shot
So G-Man was drawing and letting CBird play with the markers with the caps on... and then he let her have one with no cap... uh oh! Totally washable, was off in one minute.

Angela took me up on a scone and tea offer! CBirdjust liked her right away, like she remembered her (my OB).

We had a little "Thank You" ceremony moment in the back yard since CBird was six months old now, just like we did when GMan was six months. Thank you placenta, your hard work is very appreciated!

Sorry for the Juxtaposition of pictures... but anyway these are those yummy scones. Anyone (with minimal advance notice) is invited over for tea and scones anytime.
First day of sunshine at the "Thank You" ceremony. CBird's body isn't too happy about grass apparently. Go figure.

An oddly calm quiet time/ moment. Nevermind the instrument banging, they were banging peacefully together. Really a lovely moment.

Little Note

Te kids love to bathe together. C-Bird is the splasher! G-Man is the loud one! They both come out wet and become cranky, but soon bed time beckons... and that is the plan tonight.

Water Play, while the hot water heater was going in... CBird could have been rung out like a sponge when they were done.

Snow!

Scenes from the Big Snow of 2010. Charleston here recieved four inches of snow that promptly melted away. We battled the big melt to make a snowmman that quickly fell over and "died".

Cora is working on her precrawl. Up on all fours and rocking. She loves to scoot around, roll over and other exciting body movements.

Here is GMan enjoying Ami's Birthday Party at Gymboree before it had even started. He was running and running and he turns purple just like his mom.
Miss CBird tried her first bite of apple recently and found it to be yummy. However I gave her a taste of Peas last night and she threw up (yuk!). I think I will go back to steering clear of baby food for now, except for the occasional apple in the Munchie, for teething soothing.
Here is Jim, the kids second cousin once removed, Gabriel. Cute watching him hold CBird like she would either shatter or burst into flames. Jim was great with both though, very cool with GMan.
Cute daddy and daughter picture I had to share!

Religious Lessons

Ummm... started taking GMan to the "Cathedral of Praise" church. When I picked him up from sunday school he held up this sign and yelled "love God" at me. When Mark came home from his Buddist Group, I openned the door and GManstood at the storm door with his sign and yelled "Love God" at his dad about 4 times. Anyway, we'll being checking out the Uniterian Church soon. Here is a cute big brother, little sister picture.

Our Holiday In Brief

Our Christmas Season in 5 pictures. Next year I'll have to remember to get a few pictures of Solstice evening.

How come tree pictures never look good?
This cookie recipie was perfect. Worked just like playdough, no icing to fuss with. We never took a picture of our Gingerbread house, whoops again.

Our camera died just as present openning began. Once we got over to Erics house all the kids had a blast, except maybe Cora.

The Outfit

CBird takes a shot at the wacky Christmas outfit. She is in the same chair at the same house at about the same age Grady was when we did this three years ago (give or take a week).
