Family Came to Town

We took a bunch of great pictures at the Angle Oak on everyone elses camera. Can't wait to see those. The rest of these photos are from CBird's 11th week with us. We have recently noted that GMan grew over 1/2 an inch since the first week of September and now is too tall for me to mark his height on the wood learning tower. Time for a new venue.

Mark here is holding over 45 lbs of Kid!!! We still can't believe we have TWO!
CBird's feet hit the sand and she seemed to love it, squishing her toes in the new sensation and smiling.
So this is what Mark meant when he said he changed the camera settings. Everyone, note the date prominently displayed inthe lower right coner.
I have put my videos here - saves everyone the step of going to YouTube, which is a black whole at times. So here are my kids being darn cute, bless them!

Trick Or Treat!

Cora was a bumble bee and Grady was Percy. He actually wore the get-up for about ten minutes, maybe less.
Hay ride trick or treating, fun, different. The Rivers Reach Neighborhood really pulls together for a good time!
The Kids loved it and Percy got a free ride too! I thought I was gonna have to carry it all night.

We put GMan in his Halloween shirt so he was at least "dressed up" a bit. Good thing Mark thought to bring it along.

I finally edited CBird Birth Story.

CBird is now 8 weeks old and some. She is trying to sit up and roll over all ready! She is a great nurser and a good sleeper.
GMan loves to make cookies, brownies and cakes - mostly for the batter and dough I think.
I explained to GMan he had to look for the faces when he took pictures and hold the camera still. He took a few nice shots this morning.

Boonehall Pumpkin Patch is rotting because of all the rains but we managed to find a few pumpkins and alot of stinky rotting ones.

GMan got his turn in the wrap too, we are practicing how to wrap 30lbs onto my back in a modified rucksack carry.

Above, my view when CBird sleeps in the Moby. Below one of many moments of my kids goofing with each other on the couch. Soon enough CBird just isn't going to sit still for this... she loves doing sit ups and can pull her self up to a near 45 degree angle with her stomach muscles. CBird lights up when GMan talks with her and entertains her, so the fascination and adoration seems to be mutual.

Sometimes being the older brother wears GMan out.
